Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Genre Solutions website and the supply of commercial cleaning services by Genre Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 42 685 203 276), trading as Genre Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote, engaging us, or using this website, you ("you", "the client") agree to these Terms. Where you have a separate signed service agreement with us, that agreement prevails to the extent of any inconsistency.

1. Our services

We provide commercial cleaning services in Western Australia. The specific services, frequency, scope and inclusions are those set out in your quote or service agreement. Work outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional services and charged accordingly.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are based on the information you provide and, where relevant, a site inspection. Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days and prices are exclusive of GST unless indicated. If site conditions, scope or access differ materially from what was quoted, we may adjust the price after discussing it with you.

3. Scheduling and access to premises

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the premises at the agreed times, including any keys, alarm codes, parking or access arrangements needed to perform the work. If we cannot access the site at the agreed time through no fault of ours, we may charge for the attendance. You are responsible for advising us of site-specific hazards or rules before we attend.

4. Client responsibilities

You agree to keep the premises in a state that allows us to work safely and effectively, to advise us of any special requirements or sensitive areas, and to ensure the site is safe for our team. Please secure or remove valuable, fragile or confidential items before we attend.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please give us reasonable notice — at least 24 hours where possible. Cancellations made with insufficient notice, or where our team has already been dispatched, may incur a fee. For ongoing contracts, cancellation terms are set out in your service agreement.

6. Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. We may pause services or charge reasonable recovery costs on overdue accounts. Accepted payment methods are set out on your invoice.

7. Our satisfaction and re-clean guarantee

We want you to be happy with our work. If you are not satisfied with any part of a clean, let us know within 24 hours of the service and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional cost. This re-clean commitment is our primary remedy for workmanship concerns.

8. Insurance and liability

We hold public liability insurance and workers' compensation cover as required by law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to re-supplying the affected services or paying the reasonable cost of having them re-supplied. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by pre-existing conditions, or by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Term and termination

Either party may end an ongoing service arrangement by giving the notice specified in the service agreement (or, if none is specified, reasonable notice in writing). We may suspend or end services immediately if there is a serious safety risk to our team, or for non-payment. You remain liable for services provided up to the date of termination.

10. Website use

The content on this website is provided for general information about our services and may change without notice. You must not use the website in any way that is unlawful or that could damage or impair its operation.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
